OUR RESCUED ELEPHANTS
Lily
Our adorable young elephant is named Lily and she is 20 years old. She is fun, mischievous, playful, likes to play just like a child! Lily especially likes to eat sugar cane, bananas, and lots of delicious fruits. Young elephants eat a lot and Lily does too! It's important for an elephants' diet to be mostly natural vegetation and forest grasses are Lily's favorite. Each day. Lily eats at least 300 kilograms of food a day which will ensure she keeps healthy and strong for a growing elephant!!

Wasana
Our beautiful elephant named Wasana is aged 47 years. Her name means Good Fortune and she is calm, kind, gentle, and wise. As she began to age, she walks a little slower, perhaps from the many years of hard work, she now likes to take life at her own pace.
She has a wonderful temperament and she can eat all types of grasses and natural vegetation as well as her favourite foods which are fruit and sugarcane. She loves her food and eats a lot which is a great sign she is strong and healthy. When the hot is weather she loves to stroll over to the pond to enjoy a lovely long refreshing bath to cool down.
